JIS Announces February Show Dates
The first show of the year is usually in January, but the dates were changed to avoid conflict with Super Bowl-related events.
Norwalk, Conn.—On Thursday Jewelers International Showcase announced the dates for its February 2020 show.
The jewelry trade show will take place Sunday, Feb. 9 to Tuesday, Feb. 11 at the Miami Beach Convention Center in Miami Beach, Florida.
The show usually takes place in January, but was moved to early February to avoid conflicting with the Super Bowl-related events happening at the convention center.
The organization said the change in dates will allow buyers to restock after the busy holiday season and give them more time to sell or upgrade their remaining holiday inventory.
“The JIS February Show is a very important buying and selling marketplace for thousands in the jewelry trade right after the holidays. Making sure we secured dates that were the best possible for attendees, exhibitors, and keep the show in Miami Beach was crucial," said Jordan Tuchband, industry vice president of JIS Shows, in a press statement.
The organization hosts three events in Florida each year, usually in January, April, and October, and also holds JIS Exchange during Las Vegas Jewelry Week, all produced by Reed Exhibitions.
JIS announced in April its expansion to the West Coast in with new cash-and-carry jewelry trade show JIS Delivery, which will take place in San Diego this November.
For more information about the February show, visit the JIS website or call 1-800-840-5612.
Exhibitor inquiries can be submitted now. Information about buyer registration will be announced in the coming months.
