For customers, retailer partners with Paparazzi

Los Angeles--Robbins Brothers is teaming up with Paparazzi Proposals, a company that specializes in planning and surreptitiously photographing proposals, to offer its customers the chance to plan and document the act of popping the question from start to finish.
Through the collaboration, Robbins Brothers will offer its engagement ring customers exclusive pricing on any Paparazzi Proposals package, so that experts can help clients capture the big moments before, during and after the proposal.
With every proposal, Paparazzi Proposals offers a consultation with ideas, maps and suggestions from the company’s experts, in addition to being present to help photograph the entire event.
“We realize just how important and exciting the marriage proposal is for couples,” said Larry Gomperts, executive vice president of marketing and strategic planning for Robbins Brothers. “From finding the perfect ring to planning the proposal, we strive to provide our customers with unlimited support and guidance. Ultimately, our wish is for every couple to have the most incredible engagement experience.”
One couple that already has taken advantage of the partnership is Nick Barber and his now-fiancee Susanne Shirey, according to Robbins Brothers. Barber found out about the package when he was buying the engagement ring at the retailer’s store in Arlington, Texas.
“I already had an idea in mind of how I wanted to propose but I was anxious and so nervous about everything going as planned,” Barber said.
He planned on proposing to his girlfriend at the University of Texas at Arlington, where the couple met, by making Shirey think that they were being interviewed by the school newspaper.
“Paparazzi Proposals said they could pretend to be university photographers and instantly put me at ease with their flawless planning of the day. The photographer was great and took amazing pictures, which we received from them within a couple of days after the proposal. Importantly and above all, she loved the ring and she said yes.”
Based in Azusa, Calif., Robbins Brothers has a total of 14 stores in three states, California, Texas and Washington.
