David Yurman creates new communications role
The brand has tapped cosmetics executive CeCe Coffin for the position, which includes handling media relations, social media and reputation management globally.
New York--CeCe Coffin has been named senior vice president of global communications at David Yurman, a newly created role at the jewelry brand.
Her appointment will be effective Aug. 4.
In this new position, Coffin will be responsible for media relations, social media, reputation management, strategic partnerships and special events, all on a global level. She will report directly to CEO Gabriella Forte.
Coffin brings “extensive experience” to David Yurman, the brand said. She most recently worked at The Estée Lauder Companies as senior vice president of global communications for Clinique, and before that was vice president of global communications and strategic marketing initiatives for La Mer and Jo Malone, also under the Estée Lauder umbrella.
Coffin also has held positions in television production and publishing, including with the Comcast Entertainment Group in Los Angeles and Ford Models Inc., and Elle magazine in New York.
Forte said Coffin’s experience in the luxury, beauty and lifestyle space across a diverse portfolio of brands “will be invaluable to (David Yurman.)”
“I am thrilled to join David Yurman, a company that has such a unique and authentic heritage,” Coffin said. “I am looking forward to being a part of Gabriella’s team and continuing to deepen the consumer’s relationship with the brand.”
