H. Stern opens pop-up while flagship is closed

New York--Brazilian jewelry brand H. Stern has opened a temporary boutique in New York’s SoHo neighborhood as its Fifth Avenue flagship store remains closed for renovations.
The pop-up shop will stay open through July, with the Fifth Avenue store expected to reopen sometime this summer.
Located at 104 Greene St., the boutique draws on a “gallery theme incorporating modern Brazilian designs,” H. Stern said, with natural elements including wood, rope and copper with artistic jewelry displays and freestanding furniture.
There also are Plexiglas visuals arranged on the walls of the 1,800-square-foot store that display the H. Stern creative process, highlighting partnerships between the brand and Brazilian architect Oscar Niemeyer and dance troupe Grupo Corpo.
“The design concept of the new pop-up boutique is inspired by an art gallery and we thought that the aesthetic aligned well with the SoHo neighborhood,” said H. Stern President and Creative Director Roberto Stern.
Collections carried in the pop-up shop include Stars, Fluid Gold, Moonlight and Copernicus, among others.
