Hodinkee to Receive Gem Award for Watch Excellence

The news and e-commerce site dedicated to watches will be the recipient of the Gem Award for Watch Excellence.
“Hodinkee has been a driving force in the watch industry for consumers to become passionate and educated watch collectors,” said Jewelers of America Director of Public Relations and Events Amanda Gizzi.
Gem Awards are given to individuals or companies who work to raise the visibility and status of fine jewelry and watches.
JA will also honor the late Steven Kaiser with the posthumous Gem Award for Lifetime Achievement.
While some winners are announced ahead of time, others will remain a surprise until that night.
In the Jewelry Design category, the nominees are Ron Anderson and David Rees of Ten Thousand Things, Anita Ko of Anita Ko, and Kirsty Stone of Retrouvai.
The nominees in the Media Excellence category are Amy Elliott, Sarah Royce-Greensill, and National Jeweler’s Michelle Graff.
The Retail Excellence nominees are Greenwich St. Jewelers, Sotheby’s, and Zadok Jewelers.
The 2023 Gem Awards will be held on Friday, March 17 at Cipriani 42nd Street in New York City.
