The Nomination Period Is Open for the 2024 Gem Awards
Now through Aug. 23, anyone can nominate themselves or others for an award.
Jewelers of America announced Wednesday the nomination period for the 2024 Gem Awards is now open.
The 22nd annual awards showcase is scheduled for March 8, 2024, at Cipriani 42nd Street in New York City.
Anyone can nominate themselves or others for an award in three categories: Jewelry Design, Media Excellence, and Retail Excellence. Nominations will be accepted through Aug. 23.
The 2024 Gem Awards committee will review submissions and select the final nominees in each category.
After the nominees are selected, they will be publicly announced. Then a panel of industry experts will cast their votes for the winner in each category, with their ballots sent to an independent firm that determines the winners and keeps the results secret.
Award winners will be revealed live at the March ceremony.
“The Gem Awards Committee anticipates a high volume of talented designers, retailers and media being submitted for nomination consideration at the 2024 Gem Awards,” said Jewelers of America Director of PR and Events Amanda Gizzi.
“The 2023 Gem Awards reinforced why Gem Awards are the industry’s most coveted awards. It is always a pleasure to recognize the talent that pushes the jewelry and watch industry forward and increases consumer excitement along the way.”
Earlier this year, Jewelers of America announced the members of the 2024 committee, led by chair Marion Fasel, author and editor of The Adventurine.
