IGI Names New Director of Operations, Business Development
Luxury executive Jeni Campagna will take on the role.
Luxury executive Jeni Campagna will take on the newly created role, leading and managing operations and strategic growth for the lab.
Prior to joining IGI, Campagna joined Sarine Technologies as its director of operations in October 2022.
She has more than 25 years of experience in the luxury goods and jewelry industries.
Campagna also served as vice president and global production manager at Sotheby’s Diamonds for seven years, overseeing the design, manufacturing, and quality control of its high-end diamond jewelry.
Campagna was also a senior gemologist at jewelry manufacturer Cora International and a gemology instructor at her alma mater, the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT).
She received her Graduate Gemologist diploma from the Gemological Institute of America.

Campagna shared her excitement about joining IGI.

IGI announced Monday that CEO Roland Lorie is set to step down this fall. Tehmasp Printer, who currently heads the lab’s operations in India, will take his place.
The role change follows the May announcement that private equity firm Blackstone would acquire the lab from a subsidiary of Chinese conglomerate Fosun and the founding Lorie family for more than $500 million.
