A Bronx Trail: Rocket Relocates to Westchester County
The packaging and display company has left the Bronx location it called home for more than 70 years to move into a bigger facility in Elmsford, New York.
New York--Packaging and display company Rocket has moved out of the Bronx to a new office in Westchester County.
The expanded business facility, which officially opened Thursday, is located at 375 Executive Blvd. in Elmsford, New York.
The “contemporary and highly efficient facility” provides for updated manufacturing procedures and tech-based logistics, the company said, which will allow faster turnaround times for customers.
Prior to the move, The Bronx had been home to Rocket for more than 70 years.
“The New York team is really excited about this move, and the timing couldn’t be better,” CEO Michael Kaplan said. “Our increased operations in China calls for additional support, so the move to our new location coincides perfectly by providing the space to grow our sales and support staff by about 20 percent.”
The move comes as Rocket, which is now in its third and fourth generation of family leadership, gets ready to celebrate 100 years in business in April.
The company also has offices in California and China.
