Tiffany Marketing Executive Moves to Louis Vuitton
Catherine Lacaze is now the director of jewelry and watches at Louis Vuitton.
Paris—Tiffany & Co.’s vice president of marketing for Northern America has left the company to run the jewelry and watch division at Louis Vuitton.
Catherine Lacaze was with Tiffany for nearly five years, overseeing media buys, direct marketing, the e-commerce channel for Tiffany Northern America, and events and public relations.
Prior to that, Lacaze held roles in marketing at Harry Winston, Cartier, De Beers LV and Van Cleef & Arpels.
Though LVMH Moёt Hennessy Louis Vuitton made no formal announcement about the appointment, WWD reported the move Thursday and an LVMH spokeswoman confirmed it to National Jeweler Friday.
She said Lacaze joined LVMH over the summer and her formal title is director for Jewellery and Watches at Louis Vuitton.
Lacaze joins another Tiffany alumna at the Parisian design house, which seems to be putting greater emphasis on its jewelry and watch division.
Francesca Amfitheatrof, Tiffany’s former design director, became Louis Vuitton’s artistic director for jewelry and watches in the spring.
