CMA jewels light up Nashville
On Wednesday night, Nashville, Tenn. played host to the 48th Country Music Association Awards, bringing attention back to celebrity red carpet style at a time when there aren’t many awards ceremonies.
Since our fashion editor Hannah Connorton recently made the move over to the marketing department here, I’ve gladly taken on the duties of highlighting celebrity jewels at awards ceremonies.
At this year’s CMA Awards, earrings, bracelets and rings seemed to take priority over necklaces for a number of the celebrities in attendance. Drop earrings were big, and one singer stepped out wearing asymmetrical earrings, an increasingly popular trend.
Diamond and gold jewelry also were used to accessorize the dresses that lit up the red carpet and stage.

Lady Antebellum’s Hillary Scott wore these asymmetrical Michael John Jewelry earrings with diamonds, sapphires and Australian opals, to the awards ceremony.
Tae Dye, of the musical duo Maddie & Tae, adorned her ears with these diamond Supreme earrings.
Dye also accessorized with this diamond ring in white and rose gold from Sylvie Collection pictured at left. Meanwhile, Maddie Marlow, the other half of Maddie & Tae, wore the Michael John Jewelry ring with brilliant-cut diamonds pictured at right.
Singer Miranda Lambert wore an Antonini diamond snake ring and a Carla Amorim ring in the press room with her awards on Wednesday.
Singer Jana Kramer picked this Le Vian diamond and gold ring to polish off her red carpet look.
