Piaget’s Accessible and Colorful New Women’s Watches
This spring, the jeweler is introducing watch and jewelry additions to the Possession collection that offer entry-level price points for customers.
New York—Piaget has introduced a colorful array of women’s watches that are the brand’s most accessible yet.
Hitting stores this month, the new Possession timepieces start at $3,350 for a steel version, though, naturally, there are plenty of enticements to up the price tag.
Some versions are set with diamonds, while others feature striking stone inlays in lapis lazuli, malachite, carnelian and turquoise.
The vivid colors don’t stop there. The timepieces feature interchangeable alligator straps dyed to match the shades of the aforementioned stones. More subdued black and navy straps also are available.
Piaget also has expanded its Possession jewelry offerings, introducing lower price points to appeal to the self-purchasing female consumer.
Colorful Possession bangles, rendered in 18-karat rose gold with lapis lazuli, malachite, carnelian or turquoise, are now available in a smaller size and start at $1,900.
Pendants new to the range feature those same colored stone beads, as well as onyx, encircled by a Possession ring. The pendant’s gold chain is accented with a single diamond. These styles begin at $1,660.
Piaget currently wholesales through Neiman Marcus and Saks Fifth Avenue. Last year the company announced a partnership with Net-a-Porter, marking its first time selling through a luxury global online retailer. It remains to be seen whether the company will expand its wholesale business in the future.
