Roberto Coin Unleashes Bling for the Holidays
At the Vicenzaoro jewelry trade show, the Italian brand showed high-wattage updates to its core collections.
Vicenza, Italy—Roberto Coin has taken its fan-favorite collections and upped the glamour in time for the holiday season.
The Italian brand showed high-wattage core additions at the September edition of the Vicenzaoro jewelry trade show, just concluded in Vicenza, Italy.
The feminine and classic Princess Flower collection went wintry white for the holidays, in what Roberto Coin is calling “The Christmas Choice.”
The collection-within-a-collection introduced mother-of-pearl, amplifying the design’s softness. Huggie hoop earrings with drops in the four-petal flower design, rings and chunky cuffs, all with luminescent mother-of-pearl accents, completed the collection.
New overall additions to Princess Flower included elaborate and detailed collars, as well as rings and earrings with small cabochon gemstone accents like iolite.
Also on display were new pieces from the Roman Barocco range, including chunky rings, hoop earrings in a multitude of sizes and styles, and bold, eye-catching bracelets.
Rendered in 18-karat yellow, rose or white gold with white diamonds, each featured the Roman Barocco signature setting in which the stones appear to float within the surrounding metalwork.
Perhaps the most enticing bit of newness were the large pendant necklaces created in a starburst pattern (pictured at top of article).
The inherently bold Sauvage Privé collection became even more daring for holiday with the incorporation of more all-pavé styles.
The elegant, structural collection, which also features accents of black jade and malachite, experimented with mixed metals in the form of a massive cuff comprised of 18-karat yellow, rose and white gold, pictured below. The effect of the multiple metals was surprisingly subtle underneath sparkling diamond pavé.
Drop earrings, studs, a plethora of rings and a few collars rounded out the assortment.
