Jordan Alexander jewelry received some presidential treatment this month, when first lady Michelle Obama accessorized with the brand for a dinner she attended with husband and United States President Barack Obama. The unofficial dinner was hosted by Chilean President Sebastian Pinera and first lady Cecilia Morel de Pinera in Santiago, Chile.
Michelle wore Jordan Alexander’s “Kiss” earrings (below), with pave diamonds set in 14-karat gold. The jewelry retails for $3,115.
She also donned two strands of navy baroque Chinese South Sea pearls adorned with diamond accents. The short and long (below) pearl strands are valued at $3,335 and $5,555, respectively.
The Jordan Alexander collection is new to the fine jewelry market, designed by Theresa Bruno, who is based out of both Los Angeles and New York. The collection blends luxurious stones such as diamonds, rubies and Tahitian pearls with earthy touches like sandalwood, turquoise, moonstone and lava beads.
Available to retailers through Fragments Showroom in New York, the collection’s price points range from $750 to upwards of $12,500. Consumers can purchase the jewelry at Fragments SoHo in New York, and online at Fragments.com.
