The announcement coincided with its full-year results, with growth driven by its jewelry brands.
Mark Mazzarese Named CEO of Niall
The former president and owner of Mazzarese Jewelry now is heading the Kansas City-based watch company.
Kansas City, Mo.--Niall, the Kansas City-based watch company that launched in 2012, announced that a well-known independent jeweler in nearby Leawood, Kansas, now is heading the company.
Wilson will be moving into the position of chief technology officer, spearheading product design and supply chain management, while Mazzarese will oversee the company’s regional and national expansion as well as the brand’s flagship store in Kansas City, Missouri.
Mazzarese had headed his family jewelry store, which his father Antonio opened in 1981, for the past 22 years. The store will remain family-owned despite Mark’s departure, with his sister Veronica Domingo handling day-to-day operations as president and his father retaining a majority interest in the company.
“Niall and its investors are looking forward to the direction that Mark is going to take the company,” Wilson said in a company statement announcing Mazzarese’s hire. “The importance of Mark coming on board is so that I can focus on creating products that our customers will love.”
One of a number of small American watch brands to crop up in recent years, Niall says it manufacturers everything for its watches, except for the movement, in the United States.
