SRK Exports celebrates five decades
Indian diamond manufacturing company Shree Ramkrishna Exports Pvt. Ltd. (SRK) is marking its 50th anniversary this year and recently was recognized by India’s Gems and Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC).
Mumbai--Indian diamond manufacturing company Shree Ramkrishna Exports Pvt. Ltd. (SRK) is marking its 50th anniversary this year and recently was recognized by India’s Gems and Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC).
The 5,000-employee company has offices in the United States, Belgium, Israel, China and Hong Kong, and also is a member of the GJEPC.
SRK, based in Surat, is a De Beers (formerly Diamond Trading Co.) sightholder and all of its diamonds are in compliance with the Kimberly Process Certification Scheme (KPCS), the company said.
Its diamonds begin at 0.30 carats and range to 5 carats in size or more. The stones are D to Z color and come in almost all clarities and shapes.
SRK recently was nominated in three categories of the GJEPC’s 40th annual Gem & Jewellery Awards, handed out earlier this month in Mumbai.
SRK received nods in the cut and polished diamonds, large; most socially responsible company; and best exporter categories. The company took home the award for best cut and polished large diamonds and for best exporter.
“As we are celebrating (our) 50th year, the journey so far is engraved gorgeously with hard work and dedication enhanced by numerous recognition and achievements over a period of years. Adding more to the grandeur of 50 years, GJEPC’s award is indeed an added sheen to the milestone of SRK,” the company said.
