Scottsdale, Ariz.--A dozen designers exhibiting at the Centurion show were recognized with a 2014 Centurion Design Award at a ceremony held Feb. 3.
The Centurion show took place Feb. 1 to 4 in Scottsdale, Ariz., and all pieces entered into the contest were on display for two days so retailers could anonymously vote on their top picks in each of the 12 categories.
This year, the entered pieces also were submitted anonymously, with each accompanied by a description but not the designer’s name.
Veranda magazine sponsored the awards and dinner, with opening remarks from Editor-in-Chief Clinton Smith and Kate Kelly Smith, publishing director of the Hearst Design Group.
