Here Are the Winners of the 2018 CASE Awards
Designs were chosen in five categories, including People’s Choice.
New York--Jewelers of America has announced the winners of the annual CASE Awards, which are now in their 28th year.
The awards recognize exceptional designs created by JA retail members based on creativity, artistry, style and quality.
Retail jewelers submitted their finished pieces to be judged by a panel of industry experts across four price categories: pieces that retail for under $2,000; from $2,001 to $5,000; $5,001 to $10,000; and for $10,001 and above.
A fifth category, the People’s Choice award, was judged by the public online through Facebook.
Winning designs will be on display at the Jewelers of America book in the JA New York show, running now through March 13 at the Javits Center. Winners receive $500 cash prizes, with the People’s Choice winner receiving $500 worth of Facebook advertising.
Each winner will receive a CASE Award trophy as well as media coverage, including in National Jeweler’s Retailer Hall of Fame issue.
“The CASE Awards showcase the creativity and expertise of designers in Jewelers of America member retail stores across the country,” said JA President & CEO David J. Bonaparte. “We are excited to be able to recognize their talents not only within our industry, but on a widespread scale through our ‘People’s Choice’ CASE Awards voting.”
