The secret’s out on the 2013 Fantasy Bra
Victoria’s Secret has unveiled its Fantasy Bra for 2013, which is adorned with more than 4,200 precious gemstones including rubies, diamonds and yellow sapphires and a 52-carat pear-shaped ruby.
The 18-karat yellow gold bra, made by Mouawad, is valued at $10 million.
Victoria’s Secret Angel Candice Swanepoel will model the Fantasy Bra in the 2013 Victoria’s Secret Dreams & Fantasies Catalogue, which will be available later this month, as well as in the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, which airs on CBS Dec. 10.
A matching belt was made to go along with the bejeweled brassiere.
This is the first time Swanepoel will be wearing the Fantasy Bra for the lingerie and clothing company.
Past supermodels who have donned the Fantasy Bra include Tyra Banks, Gisele Bündchen, Heidi Klum, Alessandra Ambrosio, Adriana Lima and Claudia Schiffer.
This year’s Fantasy Bra is notably more expensive than last year’s $2.5 million floral-themed bra and belt set created by New York-area retailer London Jewelers and modeled by Ambrosio.
