Original Miami Beach Antique Show Back at Convention Center
The next edition of the antique art and jewelry trade show is slated for Jan. 26 to 29.
New York—The Original Miami Beach Antique Show is returning to its original venue.
The antique art and jewelry trade show moved to the Miami Fairgrounds for the 2017 and 2018 shows while the Miami Beach Convention Center underwent a $615 million renovation. Now it will return for the 2019 event, scheduled for Jan. 26 to 29.
The Miami Beach Convention Center’s facelift kept its historically significant architectural details while also incorporating contemporary art from a number of world renowned artists.
It also added pedestrian-friendly green spaces along the Collins Canal, connecting the center with the surrounding historic and cultural districts, hotels and resorts.
The Original Miami Beach Antique Show hosts more than 600 antiques exhibitors, showcasing fine art, American and European silver, antique and estate jewelry, furniture, and collectables from the Renaissance to Art Deco eras.
Show organizers said more information about events to commemorate its return to the convention center will be released at a later date.
“During the convention center renovation, we had two great events at the Fairgrounds, but we are very excited to return to the venue that has faithfully served us for 55 years,” Show Manager Katrina Canady said. “The Original Miami Beach Antique Show is the pinnacle event for the antiques market globally, so it is fitting that we host our event in a facility of the caliber of the Miami Beach Convention Center.”
The antique art and jewelry trade show is owned and operated by U.S. Antique Shows, which also runs the Las Vegas Antique Jewelry & Watch Show and New York Antique Jewelry & Watch Show.
