Plumb Club Members Create Celestial Jewelry Collection
The “Radiant Universe” range is launching with a Big Bang, including a presentation held in a planetarium.
Englewood, NJ—The Plumb Club announced the upcoming launch of Radiant Universe, a group of celestial-inspired collections created by its members with the help of research from The Futurist, the trend forecasting firm from Paola De Luca.
The organization tasked the forecasting agency with collecting consumer data and information relevant to the jewelry market, such as consumer behavior and online sales information.
The data showed that constellation motifs, particularly the symbols of the polar star, sun, and celestial bodies, are trending.
Armed with that data, the Plumb Club created “Radiant Universe,” a program through which each member can contribute original collections that fit the celestial theme.
“We received feedback from retailers that there is a gap in our industry for aggregated, up-to-date consumer research that is valuable to them,” said Lawrence Hess, executive director of the Plumb Club.
“We are very excited to be able to not only provide such research but to transform it into physical assets that will resonate in-store.”
The organization has created branded marketing materials, such as in-case signage and social media templates, for members to promote their original collections both in-store and online.
The “Radiant Universe” collection is set to debut at JCK Las Vegas.
A lookbook is available online and will also be distributed at The Plumb Club Annual Breakfast Symposium and in the Pavilion at the JCK Las Vegas show.
For a more immersive experience, The Plumb Club is setting up a planetarium within its pavilion, which will play a 5-minute presentation about the collection.
Attendees can catch the show every 15 minutes each day of JCK Las Vegas but will need to reserve a spot.
Visit The Plum Club’s website for planetarium tickets and to read more about the initiative.
