Pomellato Back in LA with New Beverly Hills Boutique
The store is the brand’s fourth in the United States.
Los Angeles—Pomellato has returned to the City of Angels.
On Aug. 24, the jewelry brand opened a 1,700-square-foot flagship store in the upscale Two Rodeo Drive shopping center in Beverly Hills, California.
The new boutique has a design concept that fuses the brand’s Italian craftsmanship and contemporary style; the store’s façade features a sign styled in Pomellato’s signature lacquered Montenapoleone red and its iconic band ring as a front door handle.
Lacquered red wood runs throughout the interior of the store, with walls that are embellished with designs mimicking gold chains, also repeated on the surrounding furnishings.
Jewelry is displayed in “floating” glass cabinets, and customers can relax while browsing in the lounge area featuring a modern Ico Parisi sofa with custom-made gold upholstery and a design that mirrors the curves of Pomellato’s jewelry.
The store carries the brand’s iconic collections—Montenapoleone, Iconica, M’ama Non M’ama and Nude—as well as other exclusive designs.
Pomellato used to have a store on Rodeo Drive, but closed it in 2015. The new Los Angeles boutique, located at 214 North Rodeo Drive, joins three other branded retail stores currently in the U.S.: New York, Chicago and Miami.
Pomellato launched in 1967, the year that California was in the midst of the women’s movement and the “Summer of Love.”
The company launched its #PomellatoForWomen campaign last year to celebrate its 50th anniversary, highlighting the importance of female leadership and promoting the idea of natural beauty.
About the new store, CEO Sabina Belli said, “A haven of freedom and innovation, California was the home to the ‘Summer of Love,’ and today to Pomellato, in the same spirit. Pomellato feels right at home in California, and we are excited to embark on a west coast adventure.”
