Graff Debuts New Flagship Store in Hong Kong
To celebrate its opening, the jeweler will display a selection of diamonds cut from the 1,109-carat Lesedi La Rona.
Hong Kong—Graff has opened a new flagship store in Hong Kong.
The new store is 2,800 square feet and is located in the St. George’s Building on Chater Road, not far from its previous location. It was jointly developed by Graff and world renowned American architect Peter Marino.
The space has a golden façade adorned with signature Graff Icon motifs, and inside features a number of artworks and furniture created by renowned artists and designers like Roberto Giulio Rida, Juan and Paloma Garrido and André Dubreuil.
An opulent handcrafted chandelier from artist and master furniture and lighting designer Mark Brazier-Jones hangs in the main salon, inspired by the delicate flowers created by glass artist Nathalie Ziegler and offering a tribute to the natural world that also inspires Graff jewels.
From the main salon, customers will move into an ante room furnished with precious materials and mirrored surfaces meant to echo the gold and silver palette used throughout the store, Graff said.
A large showcase designed by Dubreuil houses a curated selection of high jewelry pieces, while the bridal hall displays a collection of wedding jewelry.
Adjacent to the bridal hall is a high jewelry area with three VIP rooms that allow clients to look at notable jewels in privacy.
The store also features an area dedicated to Graff’s timepieces for horological enthusiasts, along with a staircase leading to a private event hall meant for special celebrations.
To mark the special occasion of the flagship’s opening, the store will display a selection of the D color, flawless diamonds cut and polished from the 1,109-carat Lesedi La Rona rough diamond.
The store’s launch comes as part of a larger effort from Graff to expand its retail footprint in a way that best fits customer needs, including the reopening of Graff San Francisco in June after a number of design updates and a partnership with Birks Group that will see the Canadian retailer open the first Graff boutique in the country this month.
