Jewelry Insurer Zillion Forms Industry Council

New York—In its mission to best serve its end customer, jewelry insurer Zillion is bringing together some industry experts.
The company recently announced the formation of its Jewelry Innovation Council, comprised of industry leaders with decades of knowledge between them brought together to discuss opportunities and ways to overcome challenges.
The council’s founding members are Phyllis Bergman, former CEO of Mercury Ring; Ronnie VanderLinden, president of Diamond Manufacturers & Importers of America; Jeff Fischer, president of Fischer Diamonds; and Patti Geolat, CEO of appraisal company Geolat.
In a press release, Zillion noted that these members have served on the boards of or chaired the Jewelers Board of Trade, American Gem Society, 24 Karat Club of NY, Women’s Jewelry Association, U.S. Jewelry Council and the World Diamond Council.
VanderLinden stated: “We are excited about the approach Zillion has taken to provide increased transparency to customers. The industry is ready to expand consumer education and provide new solutions to an ever-changing customer.”
