Daryl Wickstrom is now the international managing director of the worldwide jewelry and watch divisions at Sotheby’s, where he will work with the auction house’s specialist teams to expand activity and grow sales in these departments.

Specifically, Wickstrom will oversee specialist teams and sales activities in North America, Europe and Asia and expand Sotheby’s Diamonds retail business and related private sales activity.
Wickstrom joined Sotheby’s in 1996 and in 2008 was appointed executive vice president and deputy chairman of Sotheby’s Asia, where he developed the growth strategy in the region and the auction house’s expansion in China. He later served as managing director of Sotheby’s global auction division, leading the launch of its Diamonds retail venture in 2005.

Ricardo Quintero is now president of Paramus, N.J.-based Movado Group, effective immediately.
In his new role, Quintero will direct the company’s brands, marketing and international expansion efforts, reporting to Movado CEO and Chairman Efraim Grinberg.

Jewelers Unblocked has hired former Jewelers Mutual executive Jeff Mills as relationship executive, responsible for expanding the company’s network in the luxury jewelry marketplace and “focus the firm’s association with premier insurance brokers serving the jewelers’ block and personal collector space,” the company said.
Mills has 20 years of experience in management, underwriting and claims roles, previously serving as vice president of commercial operations for Neenah, Wisconsin-based Jewelers Mutual Insurance Company.
