Murfreesboro, Ark.--One recent visitor to the Crater of Diamonds State Park in Murfreesboro accomplished her mission of replacing a lost cherished diamond when she uncovered a 1.05-carat rough stone on Labor Day.
Deborah Miller told the park that she was wearing the pieces in a local restaurant one day when the building’s ceiling collapsed suddenly and buried both her and her husband under a pile of rubble.
They both were rescued, but she later discovered that she had lost her diamond necklace in the accident.
