The April 14 auction of Magnificent Jewels in New York is expected to garner more than $40 million total.
Scheduled for April 14 in New York, the sale will offer more than 300 lots, including a four-strand natural colored pearl necklace that features pearls ranging in size from 4.90 to 12.65 millimeters. The necklace is expected to fetch up to $4.5 million.
Colored and colorless diamonds and rare gemstones will be part of the auction, including a 5.29-carat fancy intense purplish-pink diamond that could garner between $3.5 million and $5 million. A circular-cut fancy gray-blue diamond weighing 5.04 carats is expected to sell for up to $2.5 million.

Pieces from Van Cleef & Arpels and Harry Winston are included in the auction as well.
