A New Website That’s Designed to Educate the Industry
The nonprofit Jewelers Education Foundation has launched the Jewelers Education Portal, which is designed to give access to programs offered by trade associations.
Las Vegas--The Jewelers Education Foundation has announced the initial rollout of the Jewelers Education Portal.
The website serves as a resource for members of the trade to learn about and access the many educational programs offered by the jewelry, diamond, colored stones, precious metal and watch associations.
It also provides information about services available from each association, including crime prevention, legal and ethical standards, appraisals and credit reporting, as well as includes links to career services and details about upcoming events.
The site comes as a result of the sponsoring organizations’ aim to help industry members take advantage of the educational curriculum, activities and resources available to be better positioned for success.
Initial sponsoring organizations include participants from both the United States and Canada, such as Jewelers of America, the American Gem Society, American Gem Trade Association, Canadian Jewellers Association, Diamond Council of America, Diamond Manufacturers and Importers Association, and the Jewelers’ Security Alliance.
For a full list of sponsors, visit JewelersEducationFoundation.org.
