JA Expands Partnership with IDEX
Jewelers of America’s retail members now will get an IDEX Premium yearly membership for free.
New York--Jewelers of America announced Tuesday that it is expanding its partnership with the International Diamond Exchange (IDEX) to give its 3,000 U.S. retail members a free yearly membership to IDEX Premium.
The membership, a $500 value, includes full access to the IDEX Trading Floor, which offers live supply listings and dynamic pricing features, as well as access to IDEX’s Buying and Consolidation services and the company’s research materials.
JA retail members also will continue to receive IDEX’s monthly Diamond Price Report for free via email.
Commenting on the expanded partnership, JA President and CEO David J. Bonaparte said: “IDEX has been a strong partner and provides our members access to essential tools like their Diamond Price Report. This expanded partnership will help them better compete in the fast-paced, information-rich environment today.”
IDEX Chairman Ehud D. Cohen said that IDEX is “delighted” to strengthen its relationship with JA.
He added that IDEX provides access to 75 percent of the world’s diamond supply, and that its Buying Service can help jewelers find the best deal, authenticate a diamond against its grading report, consolidate purchases and provide a credit facility, all in a secure environment.

National Jeweler is a for-profit subsidiary of Jewelers of America, though the two organizations act independently of each other.
