Designer Rony Tennenbaum will launch “Rony Talks,” a column on wedding jewelry etiquette that will run on Love Inc, a wedding website and digital magazine for couples of all orientations.
The column will debut Oct. 8. Tennenbaum will provide readers with jewelry news, fashion, protocol, wedding and engagement themes, and tips and advice.
The designer has 25 years of experience, and launched his same-gender engagement, wedding and anniversary rings in 2008 after recognizing the need for LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender) wedding jewelry beyond rainbows and triangles.
Tennenbaum was a contributor to Engagement 101 magazine and GayWeddings.com. Love Inc, with the “Inc” standing for “inclusive,” features content catering to both straight and same-gender couples.
Hamilton Jewelers has launched “With This Ring …,” an interactive ring builder app that walks couples through the process of designing their ideal engagement ring.
The app is available for iPhones and iPads.
Users first select one of Hamilton’s engagement rings, from a solitaire to three-stone setting. They then are prompted to select a loose diamond based on cut, color and clarity.
Also included on the app is educational information including the 4Cs, proposal ideas for prospective grooms-to-be, the ability to bookmark a favorite design or designs they are working on and videos of Hamilton crafting its jewelry.
The With This Ring … app joins Hamilton Jewelers’ iCatalog+ app, which allows users to browse and shop the retailer’s latest catalogs.

Gemfields is now selling an exclusive collection of its collaboration jewelry on CoutureLab, a London-based boutique and e-commerce site.
