7 Jewelry Designers Featured at ‘Nantucket Rocks’ Pop-Up
Housed in the Vanessa Noel boutique hotel, the pop-up shop will be open from July 1 to Labor Day.
Nantucket, Mass.--The chic summer crowd in Nantucket is about to become even more stylish.
Nina Runsdorf, Buddha Mama, Jordan Alexander, Sorellina, Pamela Huizenga, Arunashi and Katherine Jetter will have their pieces displayed at a new fine jewelry pop-up shop, dubbed “Nantucket Rocks.”
Runsdorf spearheaded the project, which will be housed at the site of shoe designer Vanessa Noel’s boutique in the Vanessa Noel hotel at 5 Chestnut St.
“Nantucket is such a dynamic and storied summer holiday getaway that I wanted to tap into the market and bring a fresh mix of jewelry to the island,” said Runsdorf. “I asked seven brands, all of which have their own unique and original take on design, to be part of this summer retail venture.”
The jewelry on display will be priced between $500 and more than $100,000 retail.
In addition to the jewels, a rotating installation of artwork will be on display, as part of a partnership between Nantucket Rocks and the Samuel Owen/ACK Gallery. Represented artists will range from local to world-renowned, such as Damien Hirst.
“Nantucket Rocks” opens July 1 and will run through Labor Day.
