Piaget Names New President for North America
Yvonne Lynam comes to the jewelry brand from Louis Vuitton and also has worked at Asprey and Van Cleef & Arpels.
New York--Richemont-owned watch and jewelry brand Piaget announced late Friday that it has hired a new brand president for Piaget North America, replacing Thomas Bouillonnec.
Yvonne Lynam comes to Piaget from Louis Vuitton, where she served for two years as the vice president of the Fifth Avenue boutique. Prior to that, she worked for two years as managing director, USA for British luxury brand Asprey.
Getting hired by Piaget marks a return to Richemont for Lynam; she held a variety of positions at Van Cleef & Arpels between 2003 and 2013, culminating in the role of vice president of retail.
“It really feels like coming home. It’s great to be back in the Richemont family,” Lynam said in a news release announcing her hire. “I’ve always loved Piaget and see so many opportunities for the brand to grow in North America.”
Geneva-based Richemont said it has “big plans” for growing Piaget’s jewelry business in 2018 and believes Lynam’s experience in jewelry will help to drive this growth.
Lynam is the fourth female brand president at Richemont North America, and will serve under Piaget CEO Chabi Nouri, who became the luxury conglomerate’s first female global brand CEO when she took the position in April 2017.
Lynam lives on New York’s Long Island with her husband and two children.
