Patek Philippe Unveils New Aquanaut Timepieces
There are new white gold versions for men and a dual time zone for women.

For men, Aquanaut chronographs are now available in white gold for the first time.
The Ref. 5968G comes with a khaki green dial and strap, or midnight blue dial and strap.
The Aquanaut range was inspired by Patek’s popular, and now hard to get, Nautilus watch, which came out in 1976.
Built for active lifestyles, the straps are crafted in a water-resistant composite material that holds up to regular wear-and-tear, saltwater and even ultraviolet radiation.
The Ref. 5968G’s white gold case is 42.2 mm and water resistant to 120 meters.
At the six o’clock position, the 60-minute counter mirrors the watch’s octagonal shape.
The case, bezels and pushers—which are positioned at two o’clock and four o’clock—feature a mix of polished and satin-brush finishes.
The timepiece is powered by the caliber CH 28-520 C self-winding flyback chronograph movement.
The center chronograph hand is a permanent seconds hand. It’s possible to time a new event while the chronograph is still running by pressing the four o’clock pusher.
The reference costs $69,194 retail.
For women, the Aquanaut Luce collection, originally introduced in 2004, showcases an update of the original design with a series of steel quartz watches, as well as a self-winding model in rose gold and a dual time zone version.
At 38.8 mm, all are larger than their previous 35.6 mm size.
The Aquanaut Luce Ref. 5267 features a stainless steel case and dial with matching strap in either black, khaki green, or matte white.
With dials embossed in the classic Aquanaut pattern, they feature white gold Arabic numerals and white gold baton-style hands, except for the matte white version, which has black versions for visibility.
The bezel features 48 round-cut top color diamonds weighing a total of 1.11 carats. The sparkle adds an unexpectedly refined edge to the watch’s casual, athletic feel.
The Ref. 5267 utilizes the caliber E 23-250 S C quartz movement. It’s priced at $20,108.
Also new for women is the Aquanaut Luce Ref. 5268/200R.
It’s crafted in a rose gold case and is water resistant to 120 meters. Its size has also increased, from 35.6 mm to 38.8 mm.
It features a matte white dial and also has 1.11 carats of diamonds on the bezel.
The watch is powered by the self-winding caliber 26-330 S C movement. It allows the wearer to set the time to the second due to the stop-seconds device, which stops the balance when the crown is pulled out.
A sapphire crystal case back puts the movement on full display.
The Ref. 5268/200R is priced at $49,914.
Lastly is the Aquanaut Luce Travel Time Ref. 5269/200R, which differs from other models in that it displays a second time zone.
It’s powered by a new quartz movement with the dual time zone function, caliber E 23-250 S FUS 24H, and a setting system accessible through the winding crown.
It has two central hour hands, with a skeleton hand for home time and solid hand for local time. When multiple time zones aren’t needed, the user can align the hands to operate as a single unit.
The watch features a rose gold 38.8 mm case and is water resistant to 60 meters.
It has a matte white dial with matching strap and, again, 48 top color diamonds totaling 1.11 carats on the bezel.
The Ref. 5269/200R is priced at $40,216.
