18 Jewelry Styles from the Golden Globes
Bold diamond necklaces were a standout jewelry trend at Sunday’s Golden Globe Awards, marking a resurgence after a few years of colorful statement earrings and ornate cocktail rings taking the spotlight.
Golden Globes presenter Olivia Wilde donned Bulgari’s gold sautoir set with Roman Imperial silver coins.
The Jennifers Lawrence and Lopez, Olivia Wilde and Helen Mirren were among the stars taking advantage of a gown that allowed for extravagant neck adornment, whether it boasted a high collar or had a neckline that plunged toward the red carpet.
Per usual, colorless diamond earrings and bracelets were extremely popular, from large stud earrings to eternity bands and bracelets. Pops of color also wove their way into the mix, with some celebrities opting for brightly colored gemstone earrings in green and red hues.
When it came to the gentlemen of the evening, timepieces--namely by Piaget--adorned many a wrist, with a few pairs of cufflinks also making an appearance.

Jennifer Lopez dressed in 200 carats of Harry Winston diamonds, including a platinum “Winston Cluster” diamond wreath necklace, a platinum “Caftan Cascading” drop diamond necklace and yellow diamond earrings, among other pieces.
Presenter and singer Katy Perry also wore Harry Winston jewels, including its Winston Cluster diamond drop earrings, “Traffic” diamond ring and “Secret Combination” diamond bracelet.
Joy actress and Golden Globe nominee Jennifer Lawrence wore this diamond necklace from Chopard’s High Jewellery collection, made up of 156.77 carats of diamonds set in 18-karat white gold.
Golden Globes nominee Helen Mirren wore Harry Winston’s “Secret Cluster” diamond necklace and bracelet, as well as a pair of Winston Cluster earrings.
Putting some color into the evening, actress Sophia Bush donned this oval-shaped cabochon ruby ring by Martin Katz, in addition to the diamond necklace, studs, bangle and ring she also wore from the brand.
Empire’s Taraji P. Henson wore Kimberly McDonald earrings set with Gemfields’ Zambian emeralds.
Melissa McCarthy also wore Kimberly McDonald jewels, accessorizing with the designer’s one-of-a-kind dark geode diamond pendant on a handmade chain, from the Orchide collection.
McCarthy also wore a tanzanite and diamond ring by Kimberley McDonald.
On the color trend, Lola Kirke, star of Golden Globe-nominated TV series Mozart in the Jungle, donned Chopard’s 18-karat rose gold and ruby earrings from the brand’s Red Carpet collection.
Rachel McAdams wore about $1.3 million in Forevermark jewels, and these “Star Cluster” earrings set with 5.25 carats of diamonds were among the pieces. McAdams was in the movie Spotlight, which was one of the evening’s nominees.
Also wearing Forevermark was actress Kate Hudson, wearing platinum drop earrings set with 20 carats of round brilliant diamonds.
Actress Kate Bosworth wore Norman Silverman Diamonds’ “Cascade” earrings, as well as a diamond bracelet and ring from the brand, for a total weight of more than 67 carats.

Matt Damon, star of The Martian, which won two Golden Globes Sunday night, wore the Piaget Gouverneur 18-karat white gold watch, which features a “sunburst” dial motif and a flyback automatic mechanical chronograph movement.
Piaget also got its wristwatches on a number of other stars at the show. These timepieces were donned by (from left) actors Paul Dano, Terrance Howard and Michael B. Jordan.
Another presenter, actor Gerard Butler, wore Bulgari’s Octo Solotempo wristwatch with a pair of “Quadrato” cufflinks, made in sterling silver with blue enamel.
