Samuels Jewelers Inc. will open new locations in Texas and Ohio during the holiday shopping season, as well as remodel three existing stores, the company announced recently.

The new Samuels Jewelers stores will be located at Central Mall in Port Arthur, Texas; Ohio Valley Mall in St. Clairsville, Ohio; and the Sandusky Mall in Sandusky, Ohio.
The stores slated for remodeling are at Post Oak Mall in College Station, Texas; Oakridge Mall in San Jose, Calif.; and Empire Mall in Sioux Falls, S.D.
The new and remodeled stores follow the company’s 2012 expansion, which included two new and eight remodeled stores.
Samuels Jewelers is the sister store to Andrews Jewelers, Rogers Jewelers, Samuels Diamonds and Schubach Jewelers, which collectively operate in 22 states across the country.
All five brands are owned by Mumbai-based manufacturer and retailer Gitanjali Gems Ltd., which has stores in India as well as the Middle East and Asia. The company has said recently it is focusing on growing its presence in markets outside India, including in the United States.
Samuels Jewelers said it puts a focus on remaining “green,” or eco-friendly, by using LED lighting packages that help conserve energy.
In 2012, the company introduced museum display cubes and small, stand-alone units to display specialty merchandise.
“Three years ago, we started leading the jewelry industry with a fresh new design that had never been seen in the likes of a traditional jewelry store. Today, our stores have evolved into an environment that our guests and landlords are extremely excited about,” said Samuels Jewelers CEO Michael Feinman.
