The collection is made up of sterling silver pieces with diamond and colored gemstone accents and comes in Hallmark-branded gift packaging, with sentiments on every box. The Hallmark Jewelry collection is designed to be kept on top of the counter, allowing for easy access by customers.
“Hallmark Jewelry is a unique selling concept that combines emotional connectivity with carefully designed and curated fine jewelry for a unique gift-giving opportunity, perfect for any occasion,” said Color Craft President Todd Wolleman. “Just within the first few weeks, we have already seen positive sales at Meijer.”
Meijer’s 223 supercenters, which sell everything from silver jewelry to steak, and grocery stores are spread among five states in the Midwest (Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, Illinois and Wisconsin) and Kentucky.
The Grand Rapids, Mich.-based retailer once ranked No. 28 on National Jeweler’s list of $100 Million Supersellers (last updated in 2012 using 2011 sales data.)
Leo Wolleman has offices in New York, Bangkok and Hong-Kong. The still family-owned and -operated business dates back to 1925 and is a supplier to both majors and independents, distributing lines including Story Wheels and Orvieto. Leo Wolleman also manufacturers numerous private label lines for assorted designers.
