Mazzarese will handle sales in the western United States, focusing on items like the brand’s patent-pending “Xpandable Collection,” as well as one-of-a-kind gemstone pieces.

Mazzarese grew up in the jewelry industry, joining the family’s jewelry store, Mazzarese Fine Jewelry in Kansas City, Missouri, upon his college graduation.

From 1998 to 2017 he was president of the family business. During his tenure, he brought brands like Damiani, Todd Reed, Chopard, Etho Maria, Hearts on Fire, Marco Bicego and Corum to Kansas City for the first time.

He left to head local Kansas City watchmaker Niall, which declared bankruptcy in 2018.

Picchiotti president and founder Giuseppe Picchiotti said in a press release, “(Mazzarese’s) unique expertise and leadership skills, coupled with his lengthy experience in the fine jewelry industry, ensure that he will grow our business with the standard of excellence and customer service for which our brand is known.”
