Poulsbo, Wash.--After years of helping customers celebrate their own occasions with its collections of jewelry, Blue Heron Jewelry Company is celebrating a milestone of its own this year: 25 years in business.
The retailer will celebrate by hosting an in-store party on Nov. 9.
Designers Toby Pomeroy and Sarah Graham will showcase a number of their pieces at the store throughout the day, beginning at 10:30 a.m.
Blue Heron will close from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. to prepare for the anniversary festivities, and will then reopen from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. for the party, where they also will unveil newly designed pieces by company founder Leo Fried.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony, courtesy of the Greater Poulsbo Chamber of Commerce, will take place at 5:15 p.m.
Though the event is by invitation, the general public can RSVP to attend by visiting Blue Heron’s Facebook page.
Leo Fried established Blue Heron in 1978, after years of selling his own jewelry at Seattle’s Pike Place Market. Blue Heron is located in the historic downtown of Poulsbo, Wash.
In addition to the jewelry designed by Fried, the store offers custom orders and is an authorized gem dealer.
