eLUXE3D’s Platinum scanner allows the user to integrate physical objects into the digital world, opening up a world of possibilities when it comes to jewelry design. The scanner also works with a high level of efficiency, allowing the user to save both time and money.
For instance, eLUXE3D has developed a tool that has dramatically reduced the time it takes to design a perfect-fit wedding band or shadow band. With the Platinum scanner, a wedding ring can be scanned in just 10 minutes, giving designers a perfect model that can be used within a CAD System.
The scanners from eLUXE3D have made some of the biggest problems in jewelry design obsolete. Irregular stones, a once time-consuming hurdle for designers, can be easily and accurately scanned, giving the designer a perfect digital representation that can be used for any custom jewelry design.
The Platinum scanner also gives jewelers a unique option for jewelry repair. If a customer has lost an earring, a scan can be made of the one the customer still has, allowing for a perfect match.
In fact, customers could have their entire jewelry collection scanned, creating a digital library for historic physical models.
