Hindman Appoints New SVP, Director of Jewelry and Watches
Reginald Brack has worked at StockX and Christie’s.
The company has announced Reginald Brack is its new senior vice president, director of jewelry and watches.
Brack joins Hindman from Circana, formerly named The NPD Group, where he was executive director and industry analyst in the watches and luxury category.
His role entailed providing data and market observations to luxury C-suite brand and retail executives.
Prior to that, he was senior vice president, international head of retail, watches at Christie’s. During his tenure, he launched and managed the private sales program and e-commerce program.
He was also the founding general manager of watches at StockX, where he helped grow the company into a multibillion dollar selling platform.
A watch collector and entrepreneur, Brack will be on hand for Hindman’s upcoming Glen de Vries watch auction on Oct. 18, its first New York City sale.
Hindman CEO Alyssa Quinlan said, “Reginald Brack's appointment signifies a pivotal moment for Hindman Auctions, reinforcing our commitment to elevate our Jewelry and Watches department to develop brand awareness and growth in the luxury sector.”
Brack added, “I am delighted to join the team at Hindman and look forward to bringing innovative accessibility to our clients, collectors, and the wider luxury community.”
Brack’s first jewelry auction at Hindman will be the Dec. 6 “Important Jewelry” sale.
He’s not the first Christie’s alumni to join Hindman. Upon opening its New York office this year, Hindman hired Leslie Roskind as its senior specialist for jewelry and watches in the Northeast.
Roskind spent 17 years working for Christie’s jewelry department.
