Borsheims Matches Nail Colors to Gemstones
The retailer set up a nail bar to promote jewels during Omaha Fashion Week.
Omaha, Neb.--Omaha-based Borsheims is an annual supporter of its local Fashion Week, and this year the jeweler got extra creative in promoting it.
The retailer hosted a “Sparkle and Shine Nail Bar” during Omaha Fashion Week 2017, teaming up with nail salons in the area to give Fashion Week attendees manicures in hues that resembled opals, morganite, gold and diamonds, as well as Borsheims’s signature store colors: burgundy and silver.
The Berkshire Hathaway-backed store also hosted its own pop-up shop, where consumers could shop a selection of Borsheims product.

The store isn’t afraid to think outside the box when planning its events. Earlier this month, Borsheims hosted snakes, lizards and exotic birds at its store to raise money for the local zoo.
