Tiffany & Co.’s SVP of North & Latin America Steps Down
Jennifer De Winter, who has been with the jeweler since March 2015, has decided to “explore new personal and professional interests.”
New York--Tiffany & Co. Senior Vice President of North and Latin America Jennifer de Winter is leaving the company.
Her last day will be Aug. 4.
The retailer told National jeweler that de Winter has “decided to explore new personal and professional interests.”
Now, Philippe Galtié, senior vice president, international, will expand his responsibilities to include all of the company’s global sales channels, including the North American region.
De Winter joined Tiffany in March 2015 as senior vice president of North America, managing the company’s largest sales region and helping drive sales growth across the domestic and global tourist customer base. Latin America was added to her role just months later.
Her career in retail began with the Macy’s executive training program, and she remained with the company for 12 years after that.
She then joined Saks Fifth Avenue and stayed there for more than 20 years, serving in various roles including chief merchandising officer.
“We thank Jennifer for her many contributions to Tiffany and wish her all the best,” a Tiffany & Co. spokesperson said.
The news of her departure comes about a week after Tiffany named former Bulgari executive and CEO of Diesel Alessandro Bogliolo as its new CEO effective Oct. 2.
