GIA Temporarily Offering 24-Hour Report Service in US
It is available now through Dec. 19 for diamond grading report or Diamond Dossier services.

New York—The Gemological Institute of America is offering one-day turnaround on diamonds submitted to its Carlsbad and New York laboratories for the next couple weeks.
GIA said D- to Z-color diamonds received at either of the labs for a diamond grading report or Diamond Dossier service will be ready for pickup with the grading report enclosed within 24 hours of receipt (weekdays only) at no additional charge.
The one-day turnaround offer is available now through Dec. 19, though it does not apply to grading reports online, which may take longer than a day to access.
Return shipping is available at normal ship times following 24-hour grading service, utilizing standard shipping policies. Diamonds have to be shipped from, and returned to, a single address in the United States.
To participate in the offer, write promo code HOLIDAY on the memo.
Anyone with questions can contact the GIA laboratory in New York at newyorklab@gia.edu or reach out to carlsbadlab@gia.edu.
GIA said the offer is open only to clients who have a signed agreement in place with GIA for 2019. To become a client, visit GIA.edu.
Diamonds submitted with request for add-on and follow-up services are not available for the 24-hour turnaround time.
GIA will service these stones based on the standard estimated stone return time, which is currently five business days in Carlsbad and New York for D-to-Z diamonds of all carat weights.
