Anna Sheffield Tells Serpent Story with New Collection
The designer known for her ethereal and edgy bridal styles has rolled out a new everyday wear collection with widespread appeal for spring.
New York—Anna Sheffield might be best known for ethereal and edgy bridal designs, but for fall 2018 the designer had something more wearable in mind.
The new Serpent collection expands upon the motif that Sheffield has often referenced in the past. The range is consistent with Sheffield’s dark romantic sensibility but slightly pared down and more wearable.
The collection also represents one of the designer’s most accessibly priced; a sterling silver and champagne diamond Serpent band starts at $450 and the majority of the offerings in 14-karat gold and diamonds fall at $1,500 or below.
The most expensive of the new pieces is a suite of three stacking rings in 14-karat yellow gold, 18-karat yellow gold, rhodium, white, gray and black diamonds that sell for $5,125.
Sheffield said she wears a similar serpent ring stack daily, but the new style she is most excited about is the serpent hoop.
“There's something charm-like about it while being quite modern,” she said.
The Serpent collection is live on AnnaSheffield.com and will hit Sheffield’s retailers throughout the spring.
