Entry open for emerging designer contest
Centurion is asking designers who have never before exhibited in a fine jewelry trade show to enter its 2016 Emerging Designer competition.
Merrick, N.Y.--Centurion is calling for entries for its eighth annual Emerging Designers competition, open to all designer regardless of experience, formal training or background.
The deadline to enter is Wednesday, Sept. 30. The entry form can be found here.
There are three criteria all entrants must meet to qualify in the competition: they must have never before exhibited in a fine jewelry trade show in the U.S.; they must have the ability to exhibit at a trade fair; and they must have the ability to supply high-end retailers, should they want to purchase the line.
Designers who have previously competed in, but not won, in the Emerging Designers competition are eligible to enter again.
Three winners, decided on by a panel of judges and Centurion’s retail board of advisors, will receive a complimentary exhibit space at Centurion Scottsdale 2016, scheduled for Jan. 31 to Feb. 2 in Scottsdale, Ariz.
A complete list of rules and details of participation are included on the entry form, which must be completed and mailed along with three high-resolution images and descriptions of the entry to centuriondesigncompetitions@gmail.com.
