Jewelry Television Launches ‘Rock Star’ Collection
The on-air and online retailer has rolled out the first pieces created by the winner of its Rock Star Design competition.

Knoxville, Tenn.--Jewelry Television has rolled out the first pieces created by the winner of Rock Star Design, the Project Runway-esque jewelry design competition the network launched last spring.
Winner Ashley Hoffman’s collection debuted on the network this past Friday during a special four-hour “Girlfriend Friday” show.
As the winner of Rock Star, which began in April 2015, Hoffman also received a $5,000 cash prize and one-on-one mentoring.
“This is an exciting time for both Ashley and JTV, as we introduce our first exclusive JTV Rock Star Designer Collection,” said Jill Johnson, JTV’s vice president of marketing. “After witnessing Ashley’s creativity as a designer on the competition firsthand, we knew she would create something truly special.”
According to JTV, Hoffman’s designs are rooted in the connection between her and her great- grandmother’s Native American heritage. The collection features feathers and turquoise elements, and seeks to create a balance between organic and structured designs.
“Being a part of the first JTV Rock Star Designer and working with JTV has been a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity,” Hoffman said. “It’s exciting to see all of the hard work pay off in a jewelry line I’m extremely proud of.”
