Checking out the New Designer Gallery is one of the things I look forward to the most at each edition of the JA New York Show. The gallery has been a springboard for big-name designers such as David Yurman, Penny Preville and Steven Lagos, so it's exciting to tune in to see JA's picks for the latest and greatest in promising new talent.
This year's New Designer Gallery will feature 10 designers, and I've selected one design from each to showcase below. If you've got a favorite, keep it in mind and check NationalJeweler.com next week. On Monday during the show, one of the designers will be named as the Mort Abelson New Designer of the Year.
To see these designs and more in person, visit the JA New York Show at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center. The show starts this Sunday, the 25th, and runs through Wednesday. For a closer look at any of the designs, just click right on the photo, and for more, visit the designers' Web sites, as listed below.
