Brands step up for breast cancer research
David Yurman is marking Breast Cancer Awareness Month by donating 10 percent of the purchase price of items sold on his new curated online shop to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
Called Support a Cure, the online store sells pieces from the brand’s Starburst and Petite Pave collections, and will highlight the “Love” ID bracelet, made in sterling silver with pink sapphires.
In addition, 10 percent of the proceeds from the sale of these items at David Yurman stores and from its website also will be donated to the foundation.
This is the seventh year the brand has supported the fight against breast cancer, but the first it has created an exclusive shopping experience to benefit the BCRF.
Also donating to breast cancer research during the month of October is New York-based Oscar Heyman.
