Luxury watch brand Bovet 1822 owner Pascal Raffy, pictured far right, attended a charitable party on Dec. 10. The Artists for Peace and Justice’s (APJ) New York City Holiday Gala raised more than $700,000 to create positive change for children in Haiti through education. Among those attending the event were actress and activist Susan Sarandon, actor Daniel Craig and director Paul Haggis.
There are only four days left until Dec. 25. For jewelers, that means that their busiest days are ahead of them: this weekend right up through Dec. 24, they hope, will bring a crush of customers into their stores.
The decorations have been up for a while, the marketing’s out there, the staff and customer holiday parties, for the most part, have been had. All that’s left now is to hope all the effort pays off, literally.
In this week’s slideshow, there are holiday shots from around the country, from one Texas retailer’s creative tree and another’s holiday party, plus a charity holiday fete in New York and a Jingle Ball in Los Angeles.
Happy holidays to all.
