A number of brands and companies opened new stores at the Westfield World Trade Center in lower Manhattan this week, now the city’s third-largest transportation center.

Meanwhile, one Dallas jeweler announced a new competition to find the next big jewelry design talent and the CPAA is calling for submissions for its annual pearl jewelry design contest.

The CFDA added four more fine jewelry designers as members this year, one jewelry manufacturer went branded for the first time, and one National Jeweler editor highlights the jewelry exhibitors to see at the upcoming NY Now show.
