New York--National Jeweler columnist Peter Smith will be speaking about his very popular article, “What Will Become of Retail Jewelry Stores?” at three different events in the coming weeks.

On Sunday evening, Smith will deliver the keynote address at the Portland Jewelry Symposium at The Sentinel Hotel in Portland, Oregon. The dinner starts at 6 p.m. and Smith is slated to speak at 7.

He is also slated to speak about the future for retail jewelers on Oct. 23 at the Michigan AGS Guild meeting at Blackfin Ameripub Restaurant in Royal Oak, Michigan.

And, Smith will speak on Nov. 6 at a meeting of the New England Jewelers Association scheduled to take place at the Embassy Suites in Waltham, Massachusetts.

Smith’s column, “What Will Become of Retail Jewelry Stores?” was published in April 2016 and was among the most popular and talked-about stories on that year.
